WHMIS Site Specific Awareness Training

Purpose:

To educate workers on the proper safe handling, use, storage and disposal of hazardous materials utilized specifically in their workplace to ensure safety is maximized.

Audience:

There is a requirement for ALL personnel who may come into contact with a controlled product to receive WHMIS Awareness Training. This includes office staff, contractors and part-time workers.

Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Outline:

This program focuses on the safe handling, use and storage of controlled products found specifically in the participant’s workplace and emphasizes worker responsibility, proper labeling, protecting against hazards and the proper use of MSDS sheets.

Certifications:
